We haven't been to Venice in a long time, so we returned in autumn 2024 for a romantic short break.
It was the time of the "Festa Madonna della Salute" in honor of the end of the devastating plague in Venice in 1631 and the construction of the Basilica Santa Maria della Salute.
One could write books about Venice, but to put into words how much one can get absorbed by this wonderful place would be in vain.
